Delete Your Kariel Account

This page explains how users of Kariel, provided by Kayel Apps, can request deletion of their Kariel account and associated cloud account data.

Request Account Deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject Kariel account deletion request.

To help us locate and verify the correct account, send the request from the email address used to sign in to Kariel and include:

Do not send your password, payment-card details, authentication codes, or full purchase receipts. We may reply with a limited verification request to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.

We will acknowledge a valid request and complete deletion within 30 days.

Data We Delete

After verification, we will delete or request deletion of:

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Data That Is Not Automatically Deleted

Kariel is local-first. Deleting your cloud account does not automatically remove local libraries, managed files, referenced originals, metadata, tags, notes, preferences, or databases stored on your devices. You can delete that local data from Kariel, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.

Apple and Google may retain transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations. Kayel Apps may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, financial reporting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Cancel an Active Subscription Separately

Deleting a Kariel account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by an app store. To prevent future renewal, cancel the subscription before requesting deletion:

Deleting your account does not remove access to refunds or other rights provided by the applicable app store or law.
